To show how much performance is improved with XeSS 1.3, Intel has shown the fps figures for seven titles -
Below are the results on Intel Arc A750 graphics . In both environments, XeSS 1.3 recorded higher values than the previous version of XeSS. In particular, in 'Diablo IV', there is a 28% improvement in frame rate compared to XeSS.
Here's the result on
Below are the frame rates when running 'Cyberpunk 2077' on various settings on Xess and Xess 1.3.
XeSS achieved 66 fps with performance settings, while XeSS 1.3 achieved 65 fps with balanced settings, 71 fps with performance settings, and 77 fps with ultra performance settings.
The demonstration video that has been released also shows improved anti-aliasing and reduced ghosting.
