To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Takara Tomy's TCG 'WIXOSS' series, which has been in production since 2014, and the anime 'selector' series, in which WIXOSS appears in the work, 10 of the 'selector' series has been released. A sequel, `` Selector Loth WIXOSS, '' which takes place a year later, has been released, and an anime PV has been created.

There have been multiple cases of card games being made into anime, but the anime ``Selector'' was not produced for the purpose of promoting sales of ``WIXOSS'', but was created by Warner Home Video as an animation based on cards as an animation for adults. This is a work created in collaboration with Takara Tomy. The details of the 2014 project presentation are summarized below.

“WIXOSS” has spread not only to Japan but also to North America, Europe, China, and Southeast Asia, and as of March 2024, the cumulative number of shipments has exceeded 40 million packs. As a sign of continued growth, collaborations and a world competition will be held in the 10th anniversary year under the catchphrase 'WIXOSS 10th GROW!'
As part of this effort, an animated PV for the sequel ``Selector Loth WIXOSS'', which depicts 10 years after the anime ``Selector'' series, will be produced. Mari Okada is in charge of the story, Kanon Wakeshima is in charge of the theme song, and JCSTAFF is in charge of animation production. There will also be a web comic by Manatsu Suzuki, who worked on the previous series' manga ``selector infected WIXOSS -peeping analyze-''.
A novel depicting the selectors 10 years in the future will also be serialized on the official website from summer 2024.
In addition, the card “WX24-P2 WIXOSS TCG Booster Pack loth SELECTOR” linked to the story of “selector loth WIXOSS” will be released on Saturday, July 6, 2024. The suggested retail price is 385 yen including tax for one pack, and 5,390 yen including tax for a box containing 14 packs.
