CAD data of new iPad Air with 12.9-inch display and redesigned camera leaked?
There are rumors that Apple will release a 12.9-inch iPad Air model in 2024. 91mobiles, a site that deals with news related to smartphones and tablets, reports that it has obtained CAD data for the iPad Air 12.9-inch model.

Below is an image rendered from CAD data that 91mobiles shared from industry sources. The display installed in the 5th generation iPad Air released in 2022 is 10.9 inches, so the 12.9-inch model will be slightly larger.
The back looks like this. The design around the camera has been redesigned, and while in the 5th generation iPad Air only the camera lens was protruding, in 91mobiles' CAD data, the lens and flashlight are protruding as a set.

MacRumors, an Apple-related news site, said, ``The 12.9-inch model iPad Air is designed for people who want a larger tablet than the current 10.9-inch model, and also has features such as ProMotion and LiDAR scanner, which achieve a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and the 12.9-inch model iPad Pro. We expect it to be targeted at people who don't need the high-end features that are included.'
MacRumors expects production to begin in the first quarter of 2024 and launch as early as March 2024. There are also rumors that the 6th generation iPad Air, including the 12.9-inch model, will be equipped with an M2 chip.
