HP announces the world's lightest 14-inch gaming PC, the OMEN Transcend 14
At CES 2024 , one of the world's largest technology trade shows, HP announced new models including the OMEN Transcend 14 , which is said to be the world's lightest gaming PC with a 14-inch display.

The OMEN Transcend 14 is equipped with an IMAX Enhanced certified 2.8K display and supports variable refresh rates up to 120Hz.
Weighing in at 1637g, it is said to be the lightest gaming PC of its size in the world.
The dimensions of the device are 313mm x 233.5mm x 17.99mm. Power is provided by a USB Type-C PD compatible 140W adapter, and the battery capacity is 71Wh. The operating time is up to 11.5 hours. The OMEN Gaming Hub's automatic dynamic refresh rate function extends battery life by up to 7%, and ECO mode extends it by up to 20%.
There are options for processors, and if you choose the top-of-the-line model, you get an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H (16-core, up to 5.1GHz) CPU, a GeForce RTX 4070 (8GB GDDR6 memory), 32GB of memory, and 2TB of storage.
The body colors are 'Shadow Black' and 'Ceramic White'.
The official online store, HP.com, will begin accepting pre-orders from January 8, 2024, with the price set at $1,499.99 (approximately 215,500 yen).
