I found an outrageous food item at Costco called ``Extremely thick cheese-filled sausage wrapped in bacon and vacuum packed'', so I bought it, baked it, and ate it.

At Costco, you can buy food that has an outstanding impact and is far from the common sense of Japanese people, such as ``giant rectangular parallelepiped cakes'' and ``thick, large cookies.'' As I was wandering around the Costco store thinking, ``Is there any interesting food?'', I found an item called `` Cheese Frank With Bacon, '' which is cheese-filled

Riona sausage wrapped in bacon. I was curious about what the combination of cheese, sausage, and bacon would taste like, so I bought it and tried it.

Cheese Frank With Bacon looks like this. It was sold in two packs of three bottles connected together. In addition, at the store where I bought it this time, it was sold for 1098 yen including tax.

When you turn the package over, you can see that the bacon is wrapped around the thick sausage.

The length of the sausage is approximately 16.5cm.

Checking the ingredients, the sausage has a simple composition of pork, cheese, pork fat, salt, spices, and glucose. Bacon is also made only with pork, salt, spices, and glucose, and does not seem to contain ingredients such as ``milk protein'' and ``egg protein'' that are common in cheap bacon.

Calories are 278kcal per 100g. Each bag contains 3 bottles and weighs 300g, so each bottle weighs 100g. In other words, the calorie per serving is 278kcal.

Although it can be eaten as is, it tastes better when heated in a frying pan or grill for about 8 minutes. I decided to split the package with scissors and bake three pieces.

Place 3 sticks of Cheese Frank With Bacon directly on the frying pan without adding any oil.

Heat over medium heat for 8 minutes, stirring. When you play the movie below, you can enjoy watching the sausages and bacon burn while making the sounds of 'sizzle' and 'crackling'.

When you fry bacon, a lot of oil should ooze out, but after baking Cheese Frank With Bacon, there was almost no oil left in the frying pan. Maybe the sausage absorbed some oil.

I tried serving the completed Cheese Frank With Bacon on a plate.

When I cut it with a knife, the cheese overflowed from inside.

When you eat it, you first feel the crispy texture of the bacon, and immediately after that you can enjoy the juiciness of the sausage. Another nice thing about it is that the cheese comes out melty. Bacon, sausage, and cheese all have salty seasonings, so all of them come together to create a very flavorful dish. Editorial staff members who sampled the samples said, ``I get a strong taste of pork from the sausage and bacon, so I don't mind it at all if it's this salty.I feel like I could eat as many as I want,'' and ``The taste is a bit too strong, so I don't like it on bread. I want to enjoy it as a hot dog by sandwiching it between them.''
