A review of using ``summarize.tech'', a tool that summarizes long-time movies such as lectures and meetings by time using the power of ChatGPT
Even if the entire lecture or meeting has been uploaded to YouTube, it can be quite discouraging to check the content if the movie is several hours long. ' summarize.tech ' is a tool that uses ChatGPT to summarize content in 5 minute increments, so I tried it out.

The first thing to summarize is the movie below.
This is Financial Advice - YouTube
The number of views and ratings are both high, so I think it probably has some good content, but the length of the movie is over two and a half hours, and I feel like I'll be disappointed before I even start watching it. That's why summarize.tech comes into play. First, copy the URL.

A summary was generated in no time. The content is summarized by hour, so click 'See more' in the first hour section.
Then, a summary every 5 minutes appeared as shown below. You can figure out what's being said and where it's happening much more quickly than moving the movie's seek bar.
Next, I will also try summarizing the Japanese movie. This time I will try the following 50 minute movie.
Kuniyoshi Sakai 'How the brain creates words' - University of Tokyo Open Campus 2015 mock lecture for high school students - YouTube
As before, paste the URL and click 'Submit'.
Once again, the summary text was generated in no time. However, unfortunately the summary is generated in English. Click 'See more' to check the 5-minute summary.
Of course this was also in English. The generated sentences are in English, but it seems that the content of the Japanese movie itself is understood.
Using the automatic translation function built into Google Chrome, the Japanese became fairly readable. There seems to be no problem if you just understand the general contents.
Please note that there is a limit to `` several summaries per day '' when using summarize.tech. By paying $10 (about 1500 yen) every month and becoming a member, you will be able to summarize up to 200 movies per month.
