Photo review of Apple's smart watch 'Apple Watch Ultra 2' equipped with S9 chip and improved brightness up to 3000 nits
The smart watch ' Apple Watch Ultra 2 ' was released on September 22, 2023. The display brightness has increased from the maximum 2000 nits of the previous model 'Apple Watch Ultra' to a maximum of 3000 nits, and it is 'powerful' by adopting the S9 chip, which has 5.6 billion transistors, which is 60% more than the S8 chip. I actually reviewed this device, which is said to have made great progress.

This is the Apple Watch Ultra 2 cosmetic case.
Apple Watch Ultra 2 and ``Apple Watch Series 9'' are said to be the first carbon neutral products made by Apple, and a logo proving they are carbon neutral is displayed on the side of the box. When I purchased a product at the Apple Store, the store staff also showed me this logo.
Turn the box over and open it.
I opened it all. The design combines the illustrations on the back of the box and the illustrations in the instruction manual to form a single picture.
There are three types of contents: instructions, main body, and band.
The manual begins with an introduction to the band lineup, and then briefly explains the functions of the device.
The last page contained a user guide.
Next, open the box containing the main body.
The main unit and a charging cable with a USB-C tip were included.
This is the Apple Watch Ultra 2 body.
There is a groove on the top of the main unit for passing the band through.
There is an action button on the side that comes to the left when worn. You can assign various functions to this button, such as turning the flashlight on and off.
The buttons on the right side are the side button and the digital crown.
There is also a groove on the bottom for passing the band through.
The back side looks like this. Sensors that measure skin temperature, heart rate, etc. are placed in the part that comes into direct contact with the skin.
The size is 49mm x 44mm x 14.4mm. Unlike the Apple Watch Series 9, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 comes in only one size. I compared the size with the transportation IC card and iPhone 14.
The actual weight is 61g.
Finally, open the band box.
This is the band. This time I chose 'Trail Loop' and the color is orange/beige. Size is S/M.
The length can be adjusted with Velcro.
Attach the band to the main body immediately. Attach the band by sliding it into the grooves on the top and bottom.
Installation completed.
The actual weight including the band is 70g.
I actually wore it on my arm.
Editorial staff with large hands had difficulty putting on the band. When actually purchasing an Apple Watch Ultra 2, we recommend that you first check the length of the band.

The difference was that there was a scene where a function was assigned to the 'action button', which was not present in Apple Watch Series 9. Action buttons could be set to workout, stopwatch, waypoint, backtrace, dive, and flashlight.
