This policy revision draws a line between 'spoofing' and fan channels, and when operating fan channels, channel names and You are expected to use a handle name (username).

If you give a specific example using the name 'YouTube', add a space to the original name like 'You Tube', or change the alphabet 'O' to '0' like 'Y0uTube' )' will be out.

You are also not allowed to use appearances such as profiles, backgrounds, logos, etc.

These policies are examples only and violations of these policies may result in the termination of your channel or account.

The policy update will go into effect on August 21, 2023.
