People who play Java version Minecraft with Mojang accounts are officially announced to migrate their accounts to Microsoft's. It was newly announced that the end date of this transition period has been decided at 1:00 midnight on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

In order to improve the safety and security of Java version Minecraft, the developer Mojang Studios is calling on users to switch Mojang accounts to Microsoft accounts.
The initiative, which began in 2021, is progressing well, and millions of Java users have already switched to Microsoft accounts.
A new end date has been set for this transition period, and it was announced that the date will be 11:00 on September 19, 2023 EST (Eastern Standard Time) and 1:00 on September 20, 2023 Japan time.
Mojang accounts that have not migrated by this date will not be able to sign in to Minecraft.net or the Minecraft Launcher to migrate.
``This is to ensure that everyone is using and playing with an account that has improved player safety and security,'' Mojang Studios said.
Also, starting two weeks before the transition ends, Mojang Studios support will not be able to respond to transition-related support requests.
Mojang Studios announces, ``It takes only a few minutes to migrate to a Microsoft account, and all data such as user names, progress, works, skins, etc. remain intact,'' and seeks migration within the deadline.
