Tesla cars can be unlocked using either a 'key card', 'key fob' or 'smartphone'. It goes without saying that only registered vehicles can be unlocked by any method.
However, as a result of Mr. Rajesh Randev living in Canada trying to unlock his Tesla car with a smartphone, he was able to unlock the Tesla car parked next door.
Mr. Randev started driving without noticing that the unlocked Tesla car belonged to someone else. A few minutes later, Mr. Randev noticed that ``the windshield is scratched'' and ``the charger is not in its usual place'' and confirmed with his wife by phone, but Randev's wife said about the scratches `` I don't know,' he replied.
And about 10 minutes after the start of driving, the original owner of the Tesla car that Mr. Randev got in said 'Hello. Rajesh', 'Are you driving a Tesla car?' has arrived.
The original owner said that he knew Mr. Randev's phone number from the documents in the car of 'Mr. Randev's Tesla car left at the scene' and sent a message. Mr. Randev rushed back to the scene and the two Tesla cars were safely returned to their owners.
Below is a commemorative photo taken by Mr. Randev with 'the owner of a Tesla car that got in by mistake'. There was a mix-up of cars, but it didn't seem to cause any major problems between the two.
Mr. Randev reported to Tesla that ``I was able to unlock other people's vehicles and I was able to drive,'' but it seems that no particular response has been obtained.
