According to the financial newspaper Financial Times, in India, Hosur, a subsidiary of

the Tata Group , is producing the exterior of the iPhone, but only about half of the items sent to Foxconn, an assembly partner, are Apple. It seems that it will take time to improve the proficiency of the factory in order to get closer to the goal of zero rejection.

In this regard, it is reported that Chinese suppliers approach their work with an attitude of 'if you try, you can do it' and are achieving results that are very close to zero failures. Even if the work takes several weeks, it will be finished the next day.

Entrepreneur Vivek Wadhwa estimates that it will take about three years for Indian suppliers to achieve enough production to have a noticeable impact on production in China.

In addition, it is said that the plan to transfer the iPhone production base to India is progressing smoothly in the medium term, and it is expected that 50% of the iPhone will be produced in India by 2027.
