Ordinary anpan and thought and protein & vitamin-rich complete nutritional food ``Complete mesh anpan'' tasting review

Nissin Foods, which develops the nutritional food “

Complete Meshi ”, has released “ Complete Meshi Anpan ” jointly developed with Kimuraya Sohonten , which is famous as the “originator of anpan”. It is said that the perfect balance between nutrition and deliciousness has been achieved, while maintaining the traditional deliciousness, so I actually tried to eat what it tastes like.

The package of 'Complete Meshi Anpan' looks like this.

This time I got a sample product, so there is no description of nutritional ingredients etc. on the package.

According to

the sales page of Kimuraya Sohonten, the raw materials for 'Complete Meshi Anpan' include red bean paste, wheat flour, whey protein concentrate, sugar, and fermented seeds. The calorie is 222 kcal per piece.

I opened the package and took out the contents. It looks like an ordinary anpan with poppy seeds sprinkled in the center.

The size is palm size.

The actual weight is 78g.

I decided to split the anpan in two to see what was inside.

The center of the bread is filled with bean paste. The feeling of touching the bread is slightly moist and elastic.

When I try to eat it, the texture is somewhat firm. It is heavy and has a texture that seems to accumulate in the stomach. The taste and aroma are similar to regular anpan, but the dough has a bean-like smell that is unique to complete nutrition foods. However, the scent of adzuki beans contained in the anko wraps around the ``peculiar smell of beans'', so you can feel the flavor very close to ordinary anpan.

Even when I ate the red bean paste, it still smelled like beans. Adzuki beans have a smooth texture and a strong sweet scent like dried persimmons. Because it is somewhat salty, I got the impression that it has a taste that can be said to be 'meshi' out of the frame of sweet bread.

``Complete Meshi Anpan'' will be on sale from September 9, 2022 (Friday) at Kimuraya Sohonten's directly managed store. The suggested retail price is 298 yen including tax.
