I tried eating `` almond sander '' that spreads sweetness and fragrance with a crunchy and crunchy texture

From Yuraku Confectionery's Black Thunder series, `` Almond Thunder '', which is a mixture of three types of almonds in the familiar Black Thunder, has appeared. It is said that it is an `` almond parry '' dish that allows you to enjoy a fragrant flavor and a crisp texture, so I actually tried it.

A box of 20 'Almond Thunder' looks like this.

I took out one package. The normal black thunder is accompanied by the two names 'black thunder god', but the almond thunder has a catchphrase 'Yeah! Almond parry!'

Ingredients include 'cocoa cookies' familiar to Black Thunder, roasted 'almonds', 'almond praline'

caramelized by adding sugar to almonds, and 'almond paste', which is an almond-made dish.

I compared the nutrition information display between almond sander (top) and black sander (bottom). One standard 20-gram almond sander has 108 calories, 1.7 grams of protein, 6.2 grams of fat, 11.4 grams of carbohydrates, and 0.1 grams of salt equivalent. One regular black thunder is 21 grams, 112 kilocalories, 1.3 grams of protein, 6.0 grams of fat, 13.1 grams of carbohydrates, and 0.2 grams of salt equivalent. Almond Thunder has a little more fat and protein than regular Black Thunder, but less carbohydrates and a little less calories.

I tried putting almond sander on a plate from the package. The whole is covered with chocolate, and the color and shape are not much different from normal Black Thunder.

Place almond sander (left) side by side with regular black sander (right). Almond Thunder feels a little darker and brighter brown.

I tried arranging the cross section of the almond sander (left) with the normal black sander (right). The almond sander (left) shows white almond cross-sections.

When I ate it, the crispy texture that is characteristic of Black Thunder was mixed with the light texture of almonds and the texture of crisp almond praline, and I enjoyed the difference in texture with each bite. In the usual Black Thunder with a strong chocolate sweetness, you can feel the flavor of fragrant roasted almonds and the taste of almond paste that spreads in your mouth, giving it an overall elegant sweetness. Although it retains the deliciousness of Black Thunder, it does not leave a strong impression of sweetness, so I wanted to eat it with a light tea or to replenish energy before going out in the morning.

'Almond Thunder' has a reference retail price of 43 yen including tax, and pre-sales have started at convenience stores nationwide from Tuesday, August 30, 2022. In addition, regular sales at supermarkets and drugstores nationwide are scheduled to start on September 19, 2022 (Monday).
