Amazon Drive ends on December 31, 2023, 11 years of history

In an email sent to Amazon Drive users, Amazon said, ``We will stop supporting Amazon Drive on December 31, 2023, and will focus entirely on storing photos and videos with Amazon Photos.'' He announced that the service will be discontinued at the end of 2023.



According to the FAQ site published by Amazon, the Amazon Drive app will be removed from the Android and iOS app stores on October 31, 2022. After that, on January 31, 2023, file uploads via browsers will no longer be supported, and files will no longer be viewable or downloadable on December 31, 2023.

Photos and videos saved in Amazon Drive are automatically migrated to Amazon Photos, and can be accessed from Amazon Photos even after the end of Amazon Drive service. Amazon asked users to download other files locally or move them to another service before the service ends.
