'Your Phone' is an app announced at Microsoft's 2018 conference 'Build 2018', which allows you to immediately view photos taken with your smartphone on your PC in sync with Windows, and check notifications received on your smartphone on your PC. It is equipped with a function to do.
This time, Microsoft announced that it has renamed this 'Your Phone' to 'Phone Link'. As an evolution to match this, we also revealed that we have introduced a new interface that pushes notifications to the front.
The new interface is tabbed navigation, which allows you to check important functions and contents of your smartphone with just a fingertip operation. Also, when using it on Windows 11, it will be possible to introduce it as easily as scanning the QR code. For a native app experience on Windows 11, we've also carefully changed the usability, color palette, overall look and feel , and redesigned with rounded corners, new illustrations, and icon redesigns.
In addition, the partnership with the Chinese smartphone brand 'Honor' has made Phone Link available in China as well.
In the Japanese version, the name 'Your Phone' has not been used so far, and the Windows PC side application is 'Smartphone Sync' and the smartphone side application is 'Link to Windows'.
