'Pork steak bowl (flavored soy sauce) ', which is thick sliced pork entwined with flavored soy sauce, has appeared in Matsuya from June 22, 2021 (Tuesday). The pork steak bowl is based on Matsuya's specialty, 'gatsun and garlic flavor,' with crispy almond flavored soy sauce and escabeche of crispy vegetables with a sour taste. It is said that 'double', which has twice as much meat, also appeared on the same day, so I bought two 'pork steak bowl (flavored soy sauce)' and 'pork steak bowl double (flavored soy sauce)' and tried them. I did.

I brought it back. The left is the pork steak bowl (flavored soy sauce), the right is the pork steak bowl double (flavored soy sauce), and the double is served with rice and pork steak in separate containers.

The regular size pork steak bowl weighed 449g.
When I put the pork steak on the rice, the double weighs 571g.
When I put the pork on the rice, the difference in volume was obvious.
I will start with a regular size pork steak bowl.
The thickness of pork seems to be 1 cm.
First of all, when you put pork on rice and eat it, the umami of fat spreads from the chewy thick pork. With garlic and ginger, it has a strong flavor that will stir your appetite even in hot weather. The sauce on the meat has a slight savory flavor, and the rice goes on without any flavored soy sauce.
The flavored soy sauce was lumpy.
As the name suggests, the flavored soy sauce is a fusion of the fragrant aroma of slightly burnt soy sauce and the unique aroma of almonds and sesame seeds. It has a crunchy texture rather than a crispy texture, and it feels like it can be eaten as a man as it is. By adding the aroma of charred soy sauce to the thick-sliced pork that already stirs your appetite, your appetite will be spurred.
The meat is quite fat and tasty, so the sweet and sour vegetable escabeche refreshes your mouth.
The pork steak bowl double tastes the same as the regular size, but the amount of meat is amazing anyway. When I put it on the rice, it was in the state of 'meat even if it was turned over', and it was perfect to eat.
The pork steak bowl (flavored soy sauce) is 630 yen including tax, and the pork steak bowl double (flavored soy sauce) is 1000 yen including tax. If you eat or drink in the store, you will get miso soup, but if you take out, you will be served without miso soup.
