'Black Cat Light' that tracks human movements and stares at it is born

Mr. Ponboks , a creator who is active in fields such as hands-on exhibitions and 3D work, announced 'Black Cat Light' that keeps track of the movement of the human being in front of him.

The black cat light looks like this. The eyes are white when no humans are nearby ...

When it senses the approach of a human, it turns its eyes to green and turns toward the human while screaming 'Miao'.

Even if humans move left and right ...

It tracks human movements and moves its neck like this.

Furthermore, when a human raised his hand, the color of his eyes changed to red.

According to Mr. Ponboks, the black cat light is made by pasting the black cat's face on

a moving light that can adjust the direction used for stage lighting. In addition, human tracking is achieved by detecting the position of the face and the movement of the hands with Kinect.

The development screen of the black cat light looks like this. It seems that the position and movement of the human being detected by Kinect are read into Unity of the game engine and 3D simulation is performed.

The face of the black cat is made by sticking MDF board and Kent paper together.

Ponboks has also released a video introducing works other than Black Cat Light.

The image below is a work named 'Mate ' that imitates the movement of the viewer wearing a pointed hat.

This 'Mr.

Facebox installation ver. ' Is a work in which the facial expressions of the viewer wearing the headgear are reflected in the headgear in real time.

There is also a work called

'kotonoha ' in which the words blown into the holes walk and fly on the screen.

In addition, Ponboks' website has many works made so far.
