CoCo Ichibanya 'Chicken and Tomato Hot Spice Curry' tasting review where the spiciness of jalapeno and the acidity of tomatoes explode the taste of chicken

From Curry House CoCo Ichibanya, ' Chicken and Tomato Hot Spice Curry ' has appeared on June 1, 2020 (Tuesday). I was curious about the taste of Cocoichi's new curry,

which is made by adding slices of jalapeno, which is a typical Mexican green pepper, to chicken and tomatoes, so I actually took it out and tried it.

I came to CoCo Ichibanya.

In the menu inside the store, the appearance of a limited-time menu is appealing.

That's why I bought 'Chicken and Tomato Hot Spice Curry' for takeout. 'Normal' is selected for both the amount and spiciness of rice.

The container is the part that contains the curry roux ...

It is divided into two parts, a jalapeno slice and a rice part with chicken on it.

The actual diameter of the container is about 23 cm.

The roux has almost no thickening and is smooth like soup curry. Ingredients such as cherry tomatoes and green asparagus were included.

As it is called 'hot spice', it is hard to eat for people who are not good at spicy foods and small children. The spiciness of the roux is sharp and crisp, and you can feel the pickle-like acidity from the jalapeno slices and the spiciness that slowly rises afterwards. This double spiciness and the refreshing sourness of the tomatoes accentuate the taste of juicy chicken while agitating the appetite, making it a perfect dish when you want to eat when it's hot and you don't have an appetite and want to sweat quickly. ..

'Chicken and tomato hot spice curry' can be ordered for a limited time from June 1st (Tuesday) to August 31st (Tuesday), 2021, and the price is 980 yen including tax. You can make a large serving of rice for an additional 110 yen (tax included), a small serving for a minus 52 yen (tax included), and you can also choose the spiciness, but you cannot choose the sweet one.
