The new NVMe SSD controller announced by Marvell is a series of products for data center servers called 'Bravera SC5 ', and there are two models, MV-SS1331 and MV-SS1333. The specifications of each are as shown in the table below. Sequential read throughput is up to 14GB / s, random read performance is about 2 million IOPS , and PCIe 5.0 support doubles overall performance compared to previous generation controllers that supported PCIe 4.0. Marvell says it is now.

Marvell has significantly changed the controller's architecture to include multiple Arm architecture cores such as Cortex-R8 , Cortex-M7 , and Cortex-M3 to improve power efficiency by 40% compared to previous generation SSD controllers. Is revealed.
