Since 2017, Discord has been able to share screens only on the PC version, and it was possible to have voice chats and text chats with friends while sharing your desktop and game screens.

And with the new mobile screen sharing feature, users will be able to capture the screen of their smartphone and stream it to their friends on Discord. The screen can be shared with up to 50 people.

It's not clear how Discord handles audio on smartphones. While Android blocks internal audio recording by third-party apps, Android Police, which handles Android-related news, says, 'Discord can share system audio with its own theoretically available API.'

In addition, the mobile screen sharing function is not available to all users immediately, and will be released in stages. According to TechCrunch, an IT news site, mobile screen sharing will be available to all users by December 17th (Eastern Standard Time).
