A school where students dress up as anime, movie, and celebrity characters in their student ID photos to create a buzz.

Since ID photos used for driver's licenses and various IDs are not updated frequently, students have to live with them for a long time, no matter how disliked they look. The most familiar ID photo for students is probably the one used for their student ID card, but there is a quirky school that has become a hot topic online, where students are dressed in cosplay as anime characters, movies, and celebrities for their ID photos.

North Farmington High School seniors in Farmington, Michigan, are creating a buzz online by showing off their unique cosplay costumes for their student ID photos. This isn't the first time North Farmington High School students have done cosplay for their student ID photos; some students have been doing it for several years, and it seems the scale of the cosplay has been growing every year.

So, I've put together some high-quality (?) ID photos. The image on the left is a student ID photo, and the one on the right is a photo of the character that inspired the joke.

Albus Dumbledore from the Harry Potter film series gives off a rather rough impression.

Another Harry Potter character dressed up as Rubeus Hagrid. His hair is so thick it's impossible to tell his gender, but is this really the right photo for a passport?

Princess Leia's hairstyle from the Star Wars film series is faithfully reproduced.

The man who plays Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series has a very Jack-like vibe.

A man dressed as Brick Tamland from the movie ' Anchorman ' chose a banana as his prop.

A woman who used her blonde hair to dress up as Elle, the main character in the movie ' Legally Blonde .'

The person who took the student ID photo that Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, posted on his Instagram, which is identical to an old photo , was a girl.

Lily Collin dresses up as Bob Ross from 'Bob's Art Class.'

A photo imitating the moment singer Miley Cyrus removes her wig.

A woman dressed as dancer JoJo Siwa .

A woman cosplaying as Edna Mode, the hero suit designer from the animated film ' The Incredibles .' Maybe it's because of the glasses, but it's not like she really looks like her.

Also from 'The Incredibles,' this woman plays Violet, who has the power to create an impenetrable barrier. The barrier is represented by a ball.

The woman who transforms into Agnes in the animated film ' Despicable Me 3D ' has a striking expression that makes it seem as if she has even transformed into the mind of a child.

One man was transported back to his childhood by becoming Manny, the main character of ' Helpful Manny .'

There was also a man dressed up as a girl from the popular game 'Splatoon.' The quality of the cosplay seems to vary.

You can see the cosplay that North Farmington High School students are wearing in their student ID photos by using the hashtag ' #nfid19 .'
