Arrived at Kura Sushi.
We received Shari-Cola that appeared in 2016 and the new product, Shari-Cola cream puff.
Shari-Cola cream puffs look like this when taken out of the bag.
The diameter is about half of the iPhone 6s with a total length of 138.3 mm.
It is one size smaller than cream puffs sold at convenience stores and has a round shape.
When I ate it immediately, it should not contain carbonic acid, but for some reason I feel the refreshing breeze of drinking cola the moment I put it in my mouth. This is because Sharikola cream puff uses rice vinegar as well as amazake made from rice malt to make it as close as possible to the original Sharikola. The gentle sweetness of rice and the faint cola-like atmosphere make Shari-Cola cream puff unique.
When I drank the original Shari-Cola, the impact of each one was stronger than the cream puff, such as strong carbonic acid, unique candy-like flavor like cola and Calpis, and rich sweetness of rice. However, you can see that the cream puff certainly inherits the characteristics of the original Sharikola.
The dough of Sharikola cream puff contains air and is very light and has a crispy texture.
The cream has a soft and light finish, and has a smooth texture. As there is no carbonic acid, you can feel the sweetness derived from amazake and the sourness of rice vinegar. It's a size that can be eaten by about 2 servings for adults, so it was perfect for a dessert after a meal.
Sharikola cream puffs will be available from July 7th, and the price will be 108 yen including tax.
