Interview with Hisanori Yoshida, Executive Producer of the live animation 'Mirai Diva'
'Mirai Diva ', which will start broadcasting on NOTTV from Monday, July 14, 2014, is a voice actor who acts with a sensor attached to the whole body and converts the situation into animation in real time and broadcasts it. 'Live animation ' that may be the first in history. Of course, there are various hardships to realize, but it was Mr. Hisanori Yoshida, an announcer of Nippon Broadcasting System, who challenged it. Mr. Yoshida, who is known as a subculture lover and is familiar with the moderators of anime events, has the title of 'Executive Producer' this time.
What happened before this project was born? In the first place, what kind of person is Hisanori Yoshida who appears here and there? We conducted an interview to get a closer look at the real image.

◆ The reason why 'Mirai Diva' was born
GIGAZINE (hereinafter, G):
'Mirai Diva' was a project that was born out of 'Naoki Yoshida's plan for anime ' that was broadcast on NOTTV. When did you start thinking about making anime? …… Because, regarding the production of anime, Kotaro Ishidate (Kotaro Ishidate) and Yoshitada Fukuhara of the 6th broadcast on May 21, 2013 will be guest episodes of 'Anime, make it.' Mr. Yoshida cuts out, 'Isn't it?', But I wonder if the title 'I'm planning' was actually planning this before the broadcast ...
Hisanori Yoshida (hereinafter referred to as 'yo'):
In the first place, there is a point that the announcer of another station (Nippon Broadcasting System) is doing a program on NOTTV itself, isn't it? (Laughs)
G:
Certainly (laughs)
world:
'Naoki Yoshida is planning on anime' was first asked if he could do any anime-related programs on NOTTV, and he always thought, 'Things in an unprecedented direction.' Let's do it. ' 'Do you have an idea?' 'I will do it.' It seems that there were other projects, but my plan passed.
There is a producer named Mr. Soejima on NOTTV, and this one works anyway. In the first place, it was a program with the concept of 'let's talk to the creators', but we were not only listening to the story but also discussing what we wanted for something positive, and at that time Mr. Soejima asked 'How about making an animation?' I said, 'I like it.'
In the first place, there are many people who are seriously making anime, so I thought that it would be rude for an amateur to say 'I will make an anime' among them, so on the contrary, I can work on it because I am an amateur. I thought there might be something. I think that even amateurs can do things that professionals cannot do when considering risks. If so, what would be good if we combined what we could do with anime? With that in mind, the project for this 'live animation' came out.
G:
I see, you were planning.
world:
Mr. Ishidate and Mr. Fukuhara cut out at the guest's time because they are making animations using MMD such as 'Tesagure! Club activities' and 'Straight Title Robot Anime', so 'If these people ... The aim was '...' (laughs). However, it was at that time that the story was really decided.
G:
Well, when Mr. Yoshida asked, 'I would say something like this to the live broadcast, why don't you make it?', Mr. Ishidate immediately answered, 'Let's do it.'
world:
It was decided on the spot by live broadcasting! (Lol)
G:
Yeah ... (laughs)
world:
When I decided to make it and thought about what to do, I remembered that I knew DxL (Dbayer) who is doing the real-time CG part with Mirai Diva in other work, and also said, 'By the way. , That person may be able to do this kind of thing. '
G:
It's like the seeds sown here and there sprout and a big tree was formed.
world:
I didn't expect to make something like this, so I wasn't planning on doing it (laughs), but thanks to all the powerful people, I've been able to help.
G:
Since the video about this animation project is released on YouTube's 'Naoki Yoshida is planning with animation' official channel, I can still follow the flow of how it was made. You can see that it is a project that crosses the rough sea.
world:
At first, I was thinking of something like a radio program. There was something like that ...
G:
Around October, you made a pilot version of MMD. At 'AnimeJapan 2014' in March 2014, it was announced that it was scheduled to be broadcast as 'Mirai Diva', and a demonstration was also held, but Mr. Yoshida has the title of 'Executive Producer'. I've seen this similar title in a movie, but at least I don't see it in a series of anime. Why is it 'Executive Producer'?
world:
Hmm ... what is it? (Laughs) For example, Mr. Ishidate is in charge of the director and screenplay, Mr. Fukuhara is the producer, and Mr. Soejima, whose name was mentioned earlier, is the producer on the distribution side. There are people who work for each. I wonder what I am ... Isn't it 'speaking out'?
G:
At least, it doesn't mean that you take the lead at the production site and say, 'Do that, do this.'
world:
I'll leave that to you. Yes, it's like a boatman who shows the direction of the project when the discussion is confused at the time of the meeting. In this case, let's not shake the place called 'live animation'.
G:
Hmmmm.
world:
I'm also an announcer, but I think 'live broadcasting' is an important factor. Most of the inquiries to radio stations are 'Is this program a live broadcast?', And many people are happy when they answer 'It's live.' Nobody is happy to say that it is a recording, but I think that there is the power of live broadcasting.
G:
You can understand it somehow ... When I'm listening to the radio alone at midnight, it feels like I'm not alone but connected, even though I'm not face-to-face with a live program. In this live animation, the voice actor is acting with the sensor attached to the whole body as it is, and you can see the animation of the full CG character linked with the movement.
world:
That's right.
G:
Can you see the voice actor who is playing that side?
world:
I'm talking about making it a bonus video. Also, did you know that NOTTV will have more channels from Tuesday, July 1st?
G:
It was just the news.
world:
Using it, it is not the total number of episodes, but I think it would be interesting to be able to simultaneously broadcast the making version in which the voice actor is moving like this behind the animation.
G:
That seems fun. Speaking of which, the name of the production committee is '(* Be careful of spoilers) The final episode is a live concert committee', but are you planning to do a live concert? Every time, we are supposed to write and sing the song ourselves.
world:
How about it, it would be interesting to have a live concert. I don't know what will happen until the final episode because I'm careful about spoilers, but ... but since it's a live broadcast, I can't help spoiling (laughs)
G:
That's right. I don't think it's possible to put something like this in the name of the production committee ...
world:
No, it's a place where you can put anything, so I wondered if I should do this. In fact, what can I do here?
G:
In many cases, the name of the work is entered and it is called '○○ Production Committee', but there are cases where the names of the organizations and institutions that appear in the work are used.
world:
Yes, anything is OK. If that's the case, there's no way I can't use it because it's always included in the article. I'm not told I shouldn't do it. Isn't this an ant?
G:
I see, it's a tricky usage.
world:
I am doing my best in various ways.
G:
If you look at the movie on the official channel 'Naoki Yoshida is planning with animation' again, the last one released is January 2014, isn't it? At the meetings up to that point, I was having a difficult time saying, 'Let's make Mr. Yoshida die every time,' but even at the stage of January, animation was not yet made, and that was 'Mirai' on the stage of AnimeJapan 2014. 'Diva, I'll do it', but what happened in the last two months?
world:
There was something I couldn't say about it anymore! (Lol)
G:
In the meeting scene up to that point, Mr. Yoshida was sometimes angry with the director of Nippon Broadcasting System ...
world:
Currently, it's still in an angry status. However, I wasn't angry and told to 'stop', but I was angry but I could do it.
G:
early! Initially, the director was undecided, the character design was undecided, but the project was going on, but it was just like that ...
world:
Mr. Adachi said, 'Please put it on the radio instead,' and there was an exchange like 'What? Is that okay?' By the time I got angry, the NOTTV program was supposed to end in March, saying, 'Because I was told in the program that I would make an anime, I have to do something.' There were a lot of things going on for the announcement at AnimeJapan. However, when I was angry, the way I was angry was not so unreasonable, so I also felt that 'this is what everyone is expecting', and it feels like they are being watched warmly (laughs).
G:
'Yoshida, are you doing this?' It seems that there are people around (laughs)
world:
That is always said (laughs)
◆ What kind of person is 'Hisanori Yoshida'?
G:
When talking in this way, who is Mr. Yoshida really? 'announcer'? ?? It's just something that seems to be ...
world:
You may not know much about it except for the editors, but in fact, I'm writing a communication book now, and I devote my free time to writing every day.
G:
Speaking of which, the hashtag '#yoshidabon' has appeared frequently in Mr. Yoshida's tweets recently, but that was it. I used to use it when I published the book, but I thought it was coming out again ...
world:
The editor says, 'Mr. Yoshida, I'm working too hard.' Even if I say I work too much, I don't mean to work, and I sometimes fall asleep and wake up with 'Uhh ...' (laughs)
G:
When I was watching the tweet in June, after a while after the live radio broadcast, there was a tweet in the morning saying 'office work was finished', and when I thought that I went to bed after that, 'this person, watching a soccer game' I was surprised to hear that there was something like 'Teru!'
world:
No, when I finished playing the DVD and thought about going to bed, the match had started, so I said 'Don't do it'.
G:
When I'm chasing a tweet, I sometimes think, 'Hey, this person isn't sleeping!'
world:
Well, it's true that people often say, 'You're not sleeping.' No, I'm sleeping a lot and I like to sleep. I recently realized that it would be more interesting if it didn't look like I was sleeping (laughs).
G:
It's true that Mr. Yoshida, who is always in motion, is interesting.
world:
I haven't done anything painful about this. I don't even have to go to the gym or that level of spiciness. I'm only doing what I want to do.
G:
Do you have enough sleep for yourself?
world:
Well, I think it's bad to fall asleep like this (while hitting the keyboard) while writing a book (laughs), but that's about it. Because it seems that humans, why mammals sleep, and why they sleep are not known at all. In fact, sleep is not essential for survival, as some people have been unable to sleep for decades due to brain damage. But I don't know why I sleep. Most people say, 'You should sleep for 7 to 8 hours,' but that's also a question, and I'm not a short sleeper myself. I slept properly when I was a kid, and I slept even when I became an adult, but now I can't help it. I wake up because it doesn't turn unless I wake up in 3 hours. So, if you're feeling sick, the health checkup is all A, and what's wrong? That is the situation.
G:
Hmmmm ... It's great that you can't do anything else when you're sleeping.
world:
big! It doesn't really go on. I can't proceed ... I wonder if it's interesting because it's interesting (laughs). It's super fun to sleep once in a while, 'I slept well.'
G:
I find sleep itself interesting! (Laughs) It may be a naive question that has already appeared in the story, but for Mr. Yoshida, work is a lot of fun, isn't it?
world:
I don't feel like working at all.
G:
Right. In the first place, isn't there a need for something like 'change of mood'?
world:
I don't need it.
G:
Rather, you don't want to leave what you're doing right now?
world:
I want to do everything (laughs) I want to hold a meeting of 'Mirai Diva' all the time, I want to do it if I can write books for hours, and when the event moderator starts, I think 'it will end someday' , Broadcasting is 53 minutes and there is not enough time every day.
G:
It's a life where 24 hours a day is not enough.
world:
Not enough at all. ...... No, what about? I feel like it's not enough, but everyone feels frustrated saying 'I don't have enough time!' There is no such thing. Instead of being frustrated, he said, 'Oh, if I noticed today, the day was over with fun!'
G:
Hmmm, it's true that sometimes I feel like time is flying.
world:
The thing I want to do is the same with
How to use Tone Connect in 30 seconds-YouTube
G:
When I suddenly returned to myself from what I was addicted to, it said, 'It's been two hours!' That feeling is ... in everything.
world:
Oh yeah yeah yeah. For example, I was in Osaka on June 14th and 15th, but I felt like I was in Osaka even a week after that.
Osaka now! !! It was so quick ...! It's been two days and one night since then! !! http://t.co/SyZeVPwhfc #twitabi

A long time ago, when I met Natsuhiko Kyogoku, Mr. Kyogoku said, 'There is no uninteresting book in this world,' but I also said, 'What is uninteresting in this world?' ... I think it's interesting in general, and I've been living with that in mind.
G:
So that's it……. The defensive range is quite wide, isn't it?
world:
No, I think it's pretty biased, right?
G:
When I went to cover an anime event, I saw Mr. Yoshida and thought, 'Oh, is Mr. Yoshida the moderator today?', But this time, Mr. Yoshida was also in a place unrelated to anime, 'Oh! It sometimes looks like '?'.
world:
Yes, we have it. The interesting thing about the profession as an announcer is that, unlike other professions, announcers are reasonably convinced wherever they are. For example, it's okay for an announcer to host a variety show. You can report from the battlefield, interview kindergarten children, or interview the Prime Minister.
G:
When I say that, it's safe to say that it's because I'm an announcer that I'm doing various things here and there, rather than saying, 'I'm an announcer, but I'm doing various things here and there.'
world:
That's right, that's the best way to abuse my title 'announcer' (laughs). Moreover, it's a sly guy who looks interesting when used as a prelude. For example, it would be interesting to use 'Self-Defense Forces' as a prelude like 'Self-Defense Forces Gravure Idol', but in the same way, it would be interesting to be an executive producer as an announcer. If this is 'NOTTV producer is executive producer', I'm convinced that 'Yeah, well, that's right.' That's why I'm sly.
G:
It's one weapon.
world:
Yes, the title is the greatest weapon. ...... Otherwise, it's 'I don't really understand Oni-chan', really (laughs). Even though I'm an announcer, it's a little interesting at the point of this appearance. No matter how usual NHK announcers are, if they come to a convenience store on a bicycle in a jersey on holidays, will everyone laugh? When I think about it, I wonder how delicious it is. In reality, it's no wonder that a man in his late 30s looks like this.
G:
Seen from the edge, it seemed to be difficult for work and work, but in reality, Mr. Yoshida says that everything is fun and can't be helped. Do you have any food or drink that says 'I can do my best with this'?
world:
...... It's like GIGAZINE's crazy eating repo ...?
G:
No (laughs), I was wondering what kind of meal I was eating while doing a considerable amount of work.
world:
I don't say this much because it's misleading and annoying to explain, but basically, I eat one meal a day. When asked a lot, there are quite a few people who eat one meal a day, such as Gackt and Yasushi Akimoto.
G:
One meal concentration type.
world:
Besides, I'm doing live broadcasting ... I love sake, and I like it so much that there are always about 3 bottles of sake in the refrigerator at home, but I can't drink it during the live broadcasting. So, after work, I go home around 5am and drink while watching anime from there.
G:
Oh !? I'm so happy!
world:
I'm super happy. If I did this, my daughter would get up, so she said she was drinking while watching the anime while she was preparing to go to school.
G:
Wow! It's a great sight to see without knowing the circumstances.
world:
In the future, when my daughter grows up and asks, 'What was your father doing?', If you answer 'I've been drinking since the morning,' that's the correct answer.
G:
It's the correct answer, but it's the correct answer ...
world:
But it's not a lie. My daughter-in-law (Megumi Yoshida) got a qualification as a vegetable sommelier after getting married, so now she is also a vegetable sommelier liquor maker , and while she is a wine expert , 'Who is it?' But that's why I eat only vegetables, so I'm lucky. My wife is doing a job like buying and selling Aomori vegetables at the eaves of a liquor store in Tsukiji, and I'm eating what I got from there, so it's really delicious. That's why when I eat out vegetables, I wonder, 'Oh, what's going on?'
G:
Is there such a difference?
world:
It's delicious! It's because of my wife's job, but we have an agricultural newspaper!
In fact, Megumi Yoshida's Tumblr looks like this, and the vegetable material is squeaky.
♪ Hidamari Vegetable Diary ♪
G:
That doesn't mean 'that ramen!' Or 'the rice in this shop!'
world:
……Ah! By the way, I may not have eaten ramen last year ... However, I love sweets (laughs) I say something like 'a diet without carbohydrates', but I'm not consciously doing it, I just eat what I want to eat. However, because it is sake, it is a mess of rice, and it has a lot of sugar. I eat sake and sweets every day, so it's not like 'without carbohydrates'.
Isn't that just a mess when you look at the concept of calories? Calories are the power of burning, right? However, I've always wondered why the numbers are up to a single digit, and when I looked it up, I actually burned it and put out that amount of heat. However, burning is the process of eating food and turning it into energy, such as humans and animals, but it is not burning.
G:
You don't ignite and burn it in your body.
world:
I thought it would be strange to measure this with the concept of calories. It seems to be my basic stance to ask, 'Is that really the case?' To what is being taken for granted in the world like this. The anime also said, 'Can't it be broadcast live? Is that really the case?'
G:
It means, 'Isn't it possible if you try it?'
world:
There are times when I say 'it was no good' (laughs), but this time I tried it and it was done! ...... Maybe.
G:
So far, it feels like it can be done.
world:
I think it's okay to say 'good' or 'no' as a matter of course unless the reason why you can't do it is clear. On the other hand, think hard about what you can't do no matter what you think, and save it until you think it's the case. I also think about 'why shouldn't I kill people?'
G:
Hmmmm ...
world:
Then, there is no rule that people should not be killed, in history. However, there is a case where 'don't kill allies'. Unless it is such a society, it will not survive. It's hard to answer 'Don't kill people, why?', But if 'Don't kill allies', it's 'No questions asked'. That is written in the next communication book.
G:
Oh, when will the next book come out?
world:
It's about autumn. It's not fun to make a communication book as it is, and it's easier to talk than to write what you think, it's a profession. So, I'm just talking about what I write in the book. There's no reason why you shouldn't do what you write in a book, so let's do it.
'Goodbye, I'm a communicator' Part 1 (scheduled for 6 times in total) --2014/05/02 22:00 start --Nico Nico Live Broadcasting
G:
Indeed, there is certainly nothing wrong with it.
(Drinks come out here)
world:
Yes, people say, 'Don't you drink water?', But I'm doing live broadcasting, but I don't drink water.
G:
There is a program that picks up sweets while saying 'Don't make a crispy sound', but Mr. Yoshida does not have to eat or drink?
world:
You can eat it separately, but it's a waste of time! I have a lot of things I want to do (laughs)
G:
I only have this much time (laughs)
world:
Yes Yes Yes. When it comes to eating sweets, that's OK.
Returning to the story of the book, I think the book will have a different title, but Nico Nama has a catchy title, 'Goodbye, I'm a communicator.' I haven't announced anything else on my channel, but 5,000 to 6,000 people have watched it and it's been promoted, with two birds with one stone.
G:
I'm a little worried about the title.
world:
I also understood why 'communication disorders' were born.
G:
Oh, the solution ...!?
world:
I don't have a solution (laughs), but the nuclear family is becoming more and more popular, and I only meet people I like. But when I work, I have to meet various people to get a job. There is a gap between growth and social needs here. That's why everyone gets stuck in the job hunting that is the node. It's a very easy-to-understand story.
G:
Hmmm, if you live with your grandpa or grandma, or if you grow up with a lot of relatives, even if you go out into society, you might think that it's the same as your relatives' uncle.
world:
Yes. And an interesting opportunity for communication is that mobile phones are items that allow you to communicate anytime, anywhere, but when you turn it over, you don't have to communicate all the time. Radio is especially so, but everyone doesn't like being lonely but not bothersome.
G:
Everyone demands difficult things (laughs)
world:
It's not lonely to have a family member or a marriage partner nearby, but it can be annoying. This is a 'loneliness' in exchange for annoyance. If you avoid the hassle, you will inevitably feel lonely. These two are trade-offs. However, it's up to you where to balance, but now that everyone is going to the 'lonely' side, it's said to be an 'unrelated society.' In the old days, that wasn't possible in a 'related society.' However, this is selectable, selective, and you should choose it yourself. Therefore, it is not an unrelated society but a 'selective related society'.
G:
I see, that's what we chose.
world:
Yes, you can choose. ...... I'm talking about something, isn't it? If you have a question, start thinking, and if you come to a conclusion, you will move forward, and if not, you will not move forward. It's not interesting if it's an empty theory, so if you make a hypothesis, I'll try more and more. I love hypotheses.
G:
Even though I was talking in this way, the topic popped up, and by the way, I remembered that a picture of Mr. RG ruining the bookshelf of Mr. Yoshida's house was released on Twitter.
In addition, RG is at my home ...! !! !! RT

In the book, it was written that 'Extensive reading, I don't know if I've read thousands of books anyway'. Is the book read in large quantities anyway?
world:
Because it ’s funny, is n’t it a book?
G:
That's right. Do you read anything if it's interesting?
world:
You don't have to tie up the genre, and you don't know what you're interested in. It's possible that you wake up today to something you weren't interested in until yesterday. On the contrary, I don't think that I was interested in it until yesterday, but I'm not interested in it today.
G:
Certainly, interest is steadily expanding, isn't it? That and Sole were connected and said, 'Is that so!'
world:
I can't help but be interested wherever I am now. I'm still curious about what the location of this interview is (laughs)
G:
Is there something like a policy when buying a book?
world:
Is it recommended or intuition? If someone says 'This is good', I read 'That's right' for the time being. When you finish reading, there are recommendations at the end of the book, so if there is 'Mumumu' in it, it will be immediately popped.
G:
That connection doesn't stop.
world:
No matter what I look at, I'm still interested.
G:
Actually, the number of books in the collection is considerable, but the number of e-books is also ...
world:
It's already bread bread, there are hundreds of books in it.
G:
Do you read or read while you are on the move?
world:
I read books, tweet ... yes, I don't do anything I don't do, smartphone games, etc.
G:
Yes, I was thinking of asking about that too. How many games can you play?
world:
Only the game is not very strong. I have an image that anime, games, and manga are connected, so it's easy to think that I'm doing it, but I don't do much.
G:
Is it time consuming?
world:
That is the biggest point. It may be difficult to do it because it is interesting. However, since the game is a neighbor of anime and manga, I know it properly by asking 'What is the current situation in the neighboring village?' Therefore, if you are asked to do a job, you can return it immediately. Also, when I was asked to work, someone was interested in something that I wasn't interested in, so I thought that there must be something interesting, and when I was looking at 'where', I knew it was a snap. I'm doing it, 'Oh, it's fun!' If you do that, there is no end to it (laughs)
G:
I see.
world:
A while ago, I talked with a broadcast writer, 'Given the anime I've recorded so far, the DVDs I bought, and life expectancy, I can't see all of us.' Will definitely come out. ' But I wonder if this is all right, I think I've taken care of my life (laughs)
G:
While there is a work that says 'This is a guy I haven't seen yet' in the old work, episodes are added more and more every week in the new work. Which do you decide to watch from?
world:
It's a guess.
G:
Do you know ... I also try to watch about 5 books every day, but when I go home, the recorders are popping up and I'm in a situation where 'it hasn't decreased at all!'.
world:
It's the same, so when I get home, it's 'playing for the time being' (laughs)
G:
I was wondering what other people were doing. In particular, Mr. Yoshida seems to have little time to see him chasing tweets ...
world:
That's why I 'm really grateful for the d anime store , because I can see it on the move. After that, I like the first episode, because if you look at the first episode for the time being, when you listen to the story after that, you will understand to some extent, 'Well, did you go this way?' However, on the other hand, the trouble is that I haven't seen 'Frozen ' yet, even though I've made such a story on the program ...
* Note: Immediately after this interview, it seems that I was able to go to see it safely.
and! That movie that I should have gone to, at this timing, I can go! !! But ...? 'Snow Woman' ...? http://t.co/l5VcRYFXbC
— Yoppy (@yoshidahisanori) 2014, June 24
G:
It's a very busy interview like that, so I'd like to make this the last question. Do you ever 'keep this in mind' while you work?
world:
'I will not refuse .' I don't really hate it so much that I can't forgive it. I'm in trouble, and I don't have a manager, so this is true ... For example, even if you say 'I don't like insects', I'm not always in a place full of insects. I haven't refused for more than the schedule. If I was talking about this story because I would receive it from the one that came earlier, Jun Kunimura, who starred in ' Why Don't You Play in Hell ' to the producer of Toho, also received it from the one that came. I was told.
G:
I've heard that movie director Takashi Miike also shoots in the order in which they were offered.
world:
It seems that Mr. Miike has never said 'I want to shoot', but I am the same. Of course, there are works that I think 'I'm lucky if I can do it', but I can't really choose from myself (laughs).
G:
Thank you for a long time today.
