I have been watching an in-house studio proud of Visual Arts

I went to visual arts head officeThe reason is that the characteristics of Visual Arts are the number of affiliated brands and the studio in the company. The Osaka head office has two parts, the sound studio and the voice studio, supporting the sound aspect of visual art works.

This time, I gently have you look inside the interior of both studio.
4th floor sound studio

Visual Arts has two studio in house. On the 4th floor is the sound studio used mainly for recording songs and the like.

At the time of the interview, the console of the mixer room was placed on the desk, but as it was said that the special desk which housed the console and became flat with the desk surface was completed at this time, it is now easier to use Maybe.

The studio does not always use it, so it seems you can do it if you want to lend it, but it seems to be difficult to find places where you have to come through the development room.

this……

It seems that it was because it was just a good size to wind the cable, not being cheap.

The back of the double door is a recording booth.

I looked through the mixer room from the recording booth.

To prevent unnecessary echoes of sound, covers were hung on the music stand that is not in use.

By the way it is a mystery item whose source of music stand is unknown from where it was procured. It seems that it is not the one brought from the voice studio on the 6th floor, but since it is affixed with "MF - 1" tape, it is somewhere in the equipment ....

6th Floor Voice Studio

Located on the 6th floor is the Voice Studio, a studio that records the sound for games as the name suggests. This is a waiting room space.

This is the mixer room.

The back is a recording booth.

Although the basic is recording with digital data, it seems that it is recording on the DVD as a backup as well. When it became a condition that data can not be used due to equipment setting mistake at the time of recording, thanks to the fact that it was recorded on the DVD, it is said that there is something that has not been done without re-recording, how is double insurance I understand whether it is important.

At the time of recording, we will work with two supervisors here.

This is a secret weapon of Visual Arts. Have normal recording work put on serifs more and more and edit the data by cutting failed takes to make it line by word. However, Visual Arts will load the completed script into this unique software. Then, the queue enters for each line and recording is done, so the association between the voice and the script is completed as soon as the recording is finished. Moreover, even if there is a failing take, it is possible to correct it immediately by rerecording only one word of that line.

From the voice actor who plays, since the cue sound (signal to start recording) comes in every time a single line is issued, it may be that it is hard to concentrate though it is a series of emotional acting, but the production side Thanks to Kore, he said that he was very helpful.

The dialogue number is written on the upper left of the screen, but there are 2339 in total, and the line "I'm getting it" is the 21st line. Because this is a line of characters of the character to the last, considering that there are many more this, you can see how difficult the recording / editing work is.

In visual arts, we have studio in Tokyo and Osaka building respectively, but if more than 3 recordings overlap, we need to go to the external studio to record. Even such a case seems to be sure to bring this software. At the beginning, studio officials who had a strange face saying "Is it your own software ...?" Also says that "I'm a good software, I want to use it anytime" when I finish recording.

Although it seems that version control etc. are not carried out, since it is adjusting too finely, if there is a version it seems to be tough. By the way, as it is a tool specialized for visual arts work, it is unlikely that it will surely go well even if it is brought to other companies as it is, and there is no schedule for selling out to the outside at the moment.

The ceiling of the mixer room is wavy like this.

This is because the sound echoes when the planes are facing each other, and similarly, the booth wall surface must also be covered with the curtain at least on one side.

The mountains of cosplay costumes that are put there for some reason.

These are to be used at the event, it seems that they are placed in a corner of the studio in this way because there are no vacant places elsewhere in the company. By the way, this is Little Busters! Of things.

I will enter the recording booth across the door.

In the booth where there is something so wide that there are things to do such as recording CD dramas.

Here the voice actor sits and performs voice recording.

Volume adjustment is possible at hand.

There are various kinds of equipment.

The microphone is in a moistureproof chamber.

There seems to be a place where the staff handmade necessary items, for example, in the previous office building, the sound absorbing material of the ceiling is not a sponge as it is now but it is said that they got an empty pack of eggs and pasted it. A remnant of such atmosphere is also around here ....

It seems that Mr. Tokonogawa et al. Opened a hole with gorillo and attached it.

By the way the cable was suspended and kept in this way. It seems to be convenient because it is hard to get entangled.

It is amazing that the studio in the company is complete, but it is still a problem unique to visual arts with many brands that there are studio in Tokyo and Osaka and still being buried and going out.

At the end we will go to the warehouse, which is not usually seen, and to the conference room.
