Package design of "Rock Man ver."(above) manju is based on the original NES Rock Man(Mega Man) package. "Rock Man 10ver." is made to look like the package of Mega Man 10, which doesn't exist since Mega Man 10 is actually a download-only release. Six manjus per pack, 630 yen (about $7).
Manjus are wrapped in plastic film featuring Mega Man, Dr. Light and Roll.
The original Mega Man version manju is brown sugar-flavoured bun with shiroan(white kidney bean paste).
Mega Man 10ver. is white steamed bun with koshian(smooth red bean paste) filling.
"Rock Man Sakuma Drops" also came out on March 6th. 350 yen (about $3.90).
Sakuma drops are the candies the siblings shared in Studio Ghibli film Grave of the Fireflies. Contains eight flavours: strawberry, apple, lemon, pineapple, orange, plum, melon and mint.
Even the seal's got little Mega Mans. Seriously cute.
