Shooter Game of "Strike Witches" to come out for Xbox 360
Strike Witches of the "Pants ja nai (Not underpants)" fame is to become a shooter game for Xbox 360.
The announcement was made at a special event of the anime held on September 6. At the same time, some information about the second anime season came out.

Special event "Minna ga iru kara dekiru koto! bis" was held at ZEPP TOKYO on Sunday, September 6. Voice actresses attended along with director Kazuhiro Takamura and Taka'aki Suzuki who supervised the overall settings and military details of the anime. The event started with singer Yoko Ishida performing the theme song followed by each character's song performed by the voice actresses, and a talk show and question-and-answer session was held.

It says "Platform: Xbox 360, Genre: Shooter, Price: TBA, Release Date: TBA" with game developer Cyber Front's logo on the bottom.
It's been long since the second anime season was announced and animation production by GONZO was confirmed, but with the financial crisis and other sticky circumstances concerning GONZO, the condition of the second season is uncertain. At the talk show it was mentioned that the screenwriting is half way done, but details like airing schedule and production studio are still up in the air.
Hopefully the game will get good reception, which might lead to the awaited second anime season.
