Hiro Mashima's "FAIRY TAIL" coming to anime this autumn

It's gotta be good news for Groove Adventure Rave fans. Mashima Hiro's rip-roaring manga "FAIRY TAIL" is being adapted to anime and starts airing from this autumn.

Following the anime adaption of RAVE, this will be the second anime adaption from Mashima's works. There were 51 episodes made for RAVE, let's see how far FAIRY TAIL can go.

Read on for detail.

(JP)"FAIRY TAIL" coming to TV anime in this autumn!

FAIRY TAIL has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2006 and awarded Best Sh?nen Manga of 33rd Kodansha Manga Award. English version is published from Del Rey Manga and so far 9 volumes are translated.

Hiro Mashima made his debut on 1998's Koudansha Rookie Manga Award and soon started his best known work Groove Adventure RAVE. Being distinguished for his fast drawing, he concluded the series in 2005 without interruption and published 35 volumes of comic books. So, shortage of material hardly happens for anime adaption of "FAIRY TAIL", which means there's a huge chance of exceeding the number of episodes in RAVE anime.

Animation will be produced by A-1 Pictures of "801-chan" anime and Satelight of Macross Frontier. Let's count on this.
