2009 Spring model cell phone of SoftBank announced

SoftBank unveiled today its lineup of new model cell phones for Spring 2009.

The lineup includes the innovative "AQUOS phone", the first cell phone in the world to let you watch and record two programmes at the same time which also carries highly sensitive camera and three speakers for 5.1ch Surround sound, "EXILIM phone" with 8.1M pixel camera that activates in world's fastest 0.99 second, "VIERA phone" focused on 1seg reception.

Also announced was the new service "Kontentsu-Toku-Pakku (Contents Economical Pack)".

Featuring 3.3 inch Full Wide VGA "NewsMobile ASV" LCD, 8M pixel highly sensetive camera, "Double 1seg" capability to watch and record two programmes simultaneously. Achieved Surround sound 5.1ch by stereo speaker on both sides and center speaker in the hinge part.
To be released in early February.

Displays high resolution images quickly by "Snap Viewer" function, allowing you to browse through high definition pictures smoothly.

Achieves contrast ratio of 6000:1 with "Mobile Peaks Processor" and fluid motion by "Mobile W Speed" function which doubles the frame rate 15 per second of 1seg broadcasting to 30 per sec.
Released January 30th.

3 inch wide VGA LCD, 3.2M pixel auto focus camera with shake correction
New "Arch Slide" gimmick to swiftly and beautifully slide open.
To be released mid February or later.

2M pixel auto focus camera, 3 inch FullWide QVGA LCD with "View Blind" function to prevent being peeked.
User-friendly with twelve one-touch function.
To be released late February.

831SH (by SHARP)
3.2M pixel camera, 1seg reception
3.0 inch Wide QVGA LCD with "Colour Veil View" function to make the display difficult to peep from slant angles
Also comes in a Hello Kitty themed model (831SH KT)
To be released mid February or later.

2.0 inch QVGA LCD and 1.31M pixel camera
Five Language display (Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese)
To be released in early March.

The new service called "Contents Toku Pack" which provides you 26 contents that would cost you 5000 yen per month when signed up each separately, for only 315 yen/month.

To be introduced on March 18th.
