What a dream match! "Lupin the 3rd vs Detective Conan" is coming on TV show.

In celebration of the 55th anniversary of Nippon Television and the 50th anniversary of Yomiuri Telecasting, the collaborate film of both company "Lupin the 3rd vs Detective Conan" is revealed to be in motion.

The master thief of the century vs great detective, what a collaboration it will be!

According to these sites, "Lupin the 3rd" and "Conan Edogawa" will be co-starring on special TV anime program. The plan kicked off secretly in autumn of 2007, producer Michihiko Suwa revealed in his blog.

Monkey Punch, the author of "Lupin the 3rd" and Gosho Aoyama of "Detective Conan" will supervise this original episode. The show will be broadcasted in March on NTV and MTV network.
