Toyota to raise hybrid vehicles such as "Prius" from September
Toyota announced that it will raise the domestic suggested retail price of two hybrid vehicles such as "Prius" and eight models of commercial vehicles from September. It is caused by soaring prices of steel and rare metals as raw materials, and so far it has been absorbed by corporate efforts, but since the situation beyond that level continues, it seems that we have raised the price.
Details are as below.
Toyota revised suggested retail price for some commercial vehicles and hybrid vehicles in Japan
The price revision is from September 1st. For hybrid vehicles, it will be 73,800 yen up by 73,500 yen in case of "Prius S", and 1,765 thousand yen in case of "Harrier Hybrid" up by 13,6500 yen. In commercial vehicles, the revision rate is 1% to 3.3%, such as "Coaster Long Body High Roof LX 29 People" increased by 155,500 yen to 56,479,050 yen.
Up to now, prices have been revised in Toyota automobiles such as model changes, but in other commercial vehicles the price rise for the first time in 16 years since 1992 for the first time in 16 years, in oil cars in passenger cars was 34 years from 1974 It seems that it will be for the first time.
If the raw material price rises, will other models come up with the same price increase?
