Hairless squirrel which can not be seen in squirrel at all

Hairless squirrels are brought in wildlife hospital in Aylesbury, England, which is confusing veterinarians. Unlike ordinary squirrels like the image above, it looks like a rat appearance.

It was brought to St. Tiguwinkles, the top wildlife hospital in the UK. Although it seems that it is usual that hair will fall out due to a disease caused by mites, the reason why there is no hair in this squirrel is unknown.


Squirrel that eats favorite pecan nuts. There are only a few hair growing on the tail.


In order to find out why hair is not growing, it is said that it is currently being studied under a warm and dry environment.
