SOFTBANK MOBILE signs sales agreement with Apple and iPhone

Apple's mobile phone "iPhone" which is expected to be released in Japan now is announced that it will be released from SOFTBANK MOBE at last.

According to this release, SOFTBANK MOBILE has entered into an agreement with Apple to release "iPhone" in Japan within the year.

As for iPhone 's Japanese release, it was expected that either NTT DoCoMo or SoftBank Mobile that adopted the communication method supported by iPhone will be released, apparently SOFTBANK MOBILE seems to have contested the fight.
