Various houses covered with Kuzuna's vine
There are many opportunities to see the cases which are decorated covering the surface of buildings such as Koshien, but the place to introduce is the house covered by the vines of kudzu (kudzu). Because the kud's vine is long, you can cut it to make a knitted basket, but it seems that it grows quickly with its tremendous growth power when left unattended.
Details are as below.
A house that has been completely covered.
It seems like this will be like around the summer.
The same house as the photo above, around January. I can see the house for a moment.
It is buried up to the roof.
The main building is on the left and the barn on the right.
It is assimilating with the landscape.
It is even harder to get close to home.
It seems to be helpful if you manage somehow still.
A truck drunk by a kudzu.
It covers all over the plant and covers it.
Kudzu Monster.
Kudzu flowers. Beautiful, but do not let your guard down.
Originally kudz was originated in Japan and China, and was brought to the United States at the Independence Hundred Festival Expo in 1876. Originally it gained popularity for decorating, feeding, preventing soil erosion etc, but in the southern part of North America it was more suitable for growing than origin and spread at a stretch and is currently designated as an invasive alien species.
In the south of Atlanta, you can see a number of abandoned houses that were swallowed along the highway with a kudzu straw.
