Tasting review of 'Royal Milk Tea Thunder,' a refined and fragrant royal milk tea blended with Assam and Uva teas.

Black Thunder series will be adding a new flavor, ' Royal Milk Tea Thunder ,' starting August 25th, 2026 (Tuesday). This new flavor, which combines the fragrant aroma of black tea with the richness of milk and a light texture, was delivered to our editorial office, so we got a sneak peek to see what it tastes like.

The packaging for 'Royal Milk Tea Thunder' features a light purple base color, giving it an elegant impression.



The ingredients include sugar, vegetable oil, lactose, skim milk powder, whole milk powder, wheat flour, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, cocoa powder, shortening, almonds, and black tea (50%

Assam , 50% Uva ).



Each bottle contains 110 kcal.



I put it on a plate. The top is coated with Hokkaido milk chocolate, and you can see the granules of cream-flavored powder mixed in.



When you place 'Royal Milk Tea Thunder' (left) and a regular Black Thunder (right) side by side, you can see that 'Royal Milk Tea Thunder' is slightly smaller.



This is what the cross-section of 'Royal Milk Tea Thunder' looks like. It contains cream-flavored chips, crunchy milk-flavored biscuits, and crispy, crumbly basic cookies mixed inside.



When you actually taste it, the aroma of black tea spreads in your mouth along with the rich flavor of milk, and the sweetness of the chocolate brings everything together in just the right amount. It has the crunchy texture and sweetness of chocolate that is characteristic of Black Thunder, but the fragrant royal milk tea flavor lingers in the aftertaste, resulting in an elegant finish.



The suggested retail price for 'Royal Milk Tea Thunder' is 54 yen (tax included), and it will be available at convenience stores nationwide from August 25th (Tuesday), 2026, and at supermarkets and drugstores nationwide from September 14th (Monday).
