Anthropic has announced that it will implement identity verification for some of its services starting July 8, 2026, using the 'Persona Identities' system that was rejected by Discord.

It's unclear which users Anthropic requests identity verification from, but the user in question was reportedly developing a 'health and wellness-related B2C app.'
