An incredibly special event was held in Tokushima where participants could do voice acting for an anime together with Tanaka Koyuki, the voice actress for Shikoku Metan.
'Shikoku Metan' is a character from the Tohoku Zunko & Zundamon Project, and its official anime and synthesized voice content have gained popularity. I went to see an event at
Koyuki Tanaka, the voice actress for Shikoku Metan, and I did a voice-over session for 'Zunda Horizon' at Machi★Asobi.

Machi★Asobi is an event that fills the entire city of Tokushima with entertainment content such as anime, games, and manga. The Tohoku Zunko & Zundamon Project booth is located in 'Poppo-gai,' a shopping street in front of Tokushima Station.

The venue is filled with flags promoting Tanaka Koyuki, who plays the role of Shikoku Metan.
The voice-over corner is located at the back of the venue, where you can experience voice acting while watching a video of Zunda Horizon. Tanaka-san is pictured on the far right of the photo, and
This is how we'll be doing it: we'll be dubbing lines while watching the video. Ms. Tanaka will be voicing Shikoku Metan, and the other voices will be provided by the event participants.
Event participants will voice multiple characters, including Tohoku Kiritan, Tohoku Itako, and Chinese Rabbit. Individual participation is welcome, and participation in groups is also perfectly fine. This time, we received permission from a Tohoku Zunko/Zundamon Project fan to film their voice acting experience.

Ms. Tanaka's voice was incredibly clear and resonant; it really made me appreciate the amazing skills of voice actors.
The Tohoku Zunko/Zundamon Project fans who cooperated with the filming this time said, 'We've watched Zunda Horizon over and over again, and the background music is playing in our heads,' and both Tanaka and Monsieur Muramura P seemed very happy about it.
Participants in the voice acting experience will receive a commemorative gift.
They also had eco-bags.
Also, there were lots of goods from the Tohoku Zunko/Zundamon Project being sold at the venue. These are plush toys.
Incidentally, Zundamon is scheduled to participate in the ' Super Kigurumi Fight ' on May 17, 2026. However, it seems Zundamon missed his flight. Will Zundamon actually show up at the venue tomorrow?
