Developer Pavel Yarčak had released 'OrcaSlicer-bambulab' on GitHub, which allows direct control of Bambu Lab's 3D printer and slicer software,

Orca Slicer .

However, Bambu Lab has filed a complaint alleging that Yarchak is 'impersonating Bambu Lab,' 'circumventing authentication controls,' 'violating the terms of service,' and 'performing reverse engineering,' and has declared that an injunction has already been prepared. Yarchak denied the allegations made by Bambu Lab and requested specific details and their legal basis, but Bambu Lab did not provide a clear explanation, only repeating vague claims such as 'they performed reverse engineering.'

Bambu Lab also claimed that 'there is a risk that malicious commands could be sent to the 3D printer.'

Although Yarčak did not accept any of Bambu Lab's legal or technical claims, he voluntarily deleted the repository in question.

According to the news site Tom's Hardware, Bambu Lab's 3D printers are known for having parts that are often glued in place, making repairs and modifications difficult for users.

Rothman called on Yarčak to revive the repository and said, 'If Bambu Lab takes the fucking stupid garbage issue to court, are you willing to donate $1, $2, or $5 to help Yarčak? I'll give $10,000,' expressing his willingness to provide support if needed.

He then added a stern comment: 'If you guys at Bambu Lab are reading this, go to hell. You should stick to fighting against people at your own level.'

Please note that the crowdfunding campaign has not yet started.
