Anthropic has announced a new computing partnership with SpaceX. As a result, Anthropic has signed an agreement to utilize the full computing power of SpaceX's supercomputer, Colossus . Starting in May 2026, Anthropic will have access to over 300 megawatts of new computing power (more than 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs). This additional processing power is expected to contribute to increasing the usage limits for Claude Pro and Claude Max subscribers.

Anthropic has recently announced several computing power-related contracts.

In November 2025, they partnered with Fluidstack and announced plans to invest $50 billion (approximately 7.81 trillion yen) in AI infrastructure in the United States. Furthermore, they formed strategic partnerships with Microsoft and NVIDIA , securing Azure capacity worth $30 billion (approximately 4.68 trillion yen).

On April 6, 2026, an agreement was signed with Google and Broadcom to secure TPUs for AI processors, which are scheduled to become operational in 2027.

On April 20, 2026, Anthropic announced plans to invest over $100 billion (approximately 15.63 trillion yen) over the next 10 years to secure Amazon's AI processing chips. As a result, Anthropic will have approximately 1 gigawatt of computing power by the end of 2026.

These agreements have significantly improved Anthropic's computing capabilities, allowing us to increase the usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API.

The increased usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API will double the usage limits for the paid Pro and Max plans, the Team plan for groups, and the Enterprise plan for businesses.

Furthermore, the peak-hour usage restrictions imposed on Claude Code for Pro and Max plans have been removed.

In addition, the API rate limits for Claude Opus have been increased as follows:

Anthropic added, 'Our corporate customers, particularly those in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, and government agencies, increasingly need local infrastructure to meet compliance and data location requirements. We are very careful about where we invest. This means partnering with democratic countries that have the legal and regulatory frameworks to support investments of this magnitude and that ensure the security of the supply chain (hardware, networks, and equipment) that underpins our computing capabilities.' They explained that they are working to expand their global computing capabilities.
