The '700-TAP092BK' is a slim power strip with a slim body and plug, capable of simultaneously charging up to five devices using USB-A and USB-C.

Power strips tend to get larger when you want more features, but Sanwa Supply's ' 700-TAP092BK ' supports simultaneous charging of five devices with 2 AC outlets, 1 USB-A port, and 2 USB-C ports, while the main body is only 18mm thick, so I decided to try it out.

700-TAP092BK Power Strip USB PD 65W Fast Charging GaN 1.5m Extension Cord [Ultra-thin 18mm] Type-C x 2 A x 1 AC x 2 Outlets L-shaped Plug | Available at Sanwa Direct Online Store

This is what the '700-TAP092BK' looks like overall. It has one USB-A port and two USB Type-C ports on the side, and two AC outlets on the top.

A white power indicator light is located next to the Sanwa Supply logo.

It's roughly the same size as an iPhone 16, but slightly smaller.

While it can't quite match the thinness of some other power strips, 18mm is still considered ultra-thin for a power strip.

The back has two rubber feet to prevent it from slipping on surfaces such as desks.

The actual weight is 258g.

The cable is 1.5m long and comes with cable ties for bundling.

A distinctive feature is that it uses a fixed plug that directs the cable downwards and to the right when plugged into an outlet, rather than a swing plug that allows you to change the direction of the cable. When using a wall outlet, even if you attach a thick AC adapter below it, the cable can be routed along the wall without interference.

The plug itself is only 10mm thick, making it suitable for use in places where there isn't much space between it and walls or surrounding objects. It's convenient not only for use at home but also for short trips.

This is what it looks like when the maximum number of devices are connected. Each USB Type-C port can fast charge at 65W when used individually, but when multiple ports are combined, the C1 port on the right provides 45W, while the C2 port on the left is limited to a maximum of 18W. Therefore, you need to carefully check which device you connect to which port.
