Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy S26, Samsung Galaxy S26+ , and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra as part of its third-generation AI phone series. Pre-orders for the phones will begin today, February 26, 2026 (Thursday), with the phones set to go on sale on March 12 (Thursday).

The CPU is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, which optimizes AI processing power, power efficiency, and thermal management performance.
The top-of-the-line model, the S26 Ultra, boasts up to 19% better CPU performance, 39% better NPU performance, and 24% better GPU performance than its predecessor, the S25 Ultra. To sustain this performance, the S26 Ultra features a newly designed vapor chamber with a multi-channel structure for improved heat dissipation. It also supports Ultra Fast Charging 3.0, allowing it to charge up to 75% in approximately 30 minutes.
Camera performance has also been improved across the board, but the S26 Ultra in particular is the first in the Galaxy series to support the APV codec, which is optimized for high-quality video production workflows.
To protect user privacy, the S26 Ultra is equipped with the mobile industry's first privacy display, which protects privacy at the pixel level.
All three models are available in six colors: Cobalt Violet, Black, White, Sky Blue, Silver Shadow, and Pink Gold, with Silver Shadow and Pink Gold being exclusive to Samsung.com.
Prices at the Samsung online shop are as follows: the Galaxy S26 is priced at 136,400 yen to 163,900 yen (tax included), the S26+ is priced at 169,920 yen to 196,900 yen (tax included), and the S26 Ultra is priced at 218,900 yen to 299,200 yen (tax included).
