As part of the promotion for Diablo IV Season 2, ' Crazy for Blood, ' which began on October 18, 2023, Blizzard Entertainment is running a campaign to give away 'custom-cooled gaming PCs infused with real human blood.'

This promotion was also aimed at encouraging gamers to donate blood, so if they donated 666 quarts (about 630 liters) or more of blood, they would be entered into a lottery to win a custom gaming PC.

The recipient of this gaming PC is storms888 , a Twitch streamer. In May 2025, he posted a video on Reddit showing the gaming PC in action, and in a February 2026 interview with gaming media outlet Aftermath, he revealed that the gaming PC is still in 'near-perfect' condition.

Storms888 uses this gaming PC for streaming, and it's so high-spec that 'even when streaming Battlefield 6 at ultra settings, the frame rate easily exceeds 200 fps.' The detailed specs include an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card and an Intel Core i9 14900K CPU.

The most interesting question is, 'Whose blood is being injected into this gaming PC?' Storms888 commented, 'The blood donation form clearly stated that it was a blood sample, but that's it.'

Additionally, because blood has a tendency to clot, 100% blood is unsuitable for use as a coolant. storms888 stated, 'The coolant was pretty much a standard coolant, with red blood cells mixed in. The mix ratio wasn't specified, but it was a deep red.' Additionally, Blizzard Entertainment didn't mention the need for a replacement blood coolant, but provided storms888 with a bottle of replacement blood coolant.

Storms888 said, 'I would like to give this gaming PC to my children in the future.'
