Taiyaki ice pudding packaging.

It is an iced milk drink, and its ingredients include pudding ingredients such as caramel syrup and sweetened egg yolk.

Each piece contains 217kcal.

I took it out of the bag. The inside of the Taiyaki Ice Pudding is a deep color like caramel sauce.

When turned over, the other side was a pudding-like color.

Taiyaki ice cream pudding (left) is next to regular taiyaki ice cream (right). The taiyaki ice cream pudding is darker in color, reminiscent of caramel sauce.

On the other side, you can see that the Taiyaki Ice Pudding (left) has the yellow color of the pudding.

The cut section looks like this: It's filled with plenty of yellow ice cream, and the black sauce is a bittersweet caramel sauce. You can also see the whitish layer on the bottom, which is a white chocolate coating.

A comparison of the cross section of Taiyaki ice cream (left) and regular Taiyaki ice cream (right).

When you take a bite of the Taiyaki Ice Pudding, the sweet custard ice cream is combined with the bitterness of the caramel sauce, giving it the taste of a traditional pudding. The fluffy monaka and soft ice cream are complemented by the crunchy texture of the white chocolate, and the rich chocolate flavor of the pudding ice cream doesn't become monotonous. The ice cream is richly sweet, but the bitterness of the caramel sauce lingers in the aftertaste, so it's recommended to eat it with a drink such as coffee or tea.

Taiyaki Ice Pudding will be released on December 29, 2025, with a suggested retail price of 183 yen (tax included). It will also be available at the Imuraya web shop .
