The Apple Watch Ultra is a high-end model in the Apple Watch family, packed with features for sports and adventure.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 features a wide-viewing-angle OLED display and the high-performance, low-power display technology 'LTPO3.'

Brightness is improved when viewed from an angle.

While the case size remains the same as the previous generation, the bezels have been slimmed down, allowing for a larger screen area.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 finally adds satellite connectivity, allowing you to send messages and share your location with the Find My feature even when you're in an area without a signal in supported countries and regions.

According to Apple, it is now possible to communicate with a satellite located approximately 1,287 km above the Earth.

Emergency SOS via satellite is also available from Apple Watch Ultra 3. Even if you're lost in the mountains or at sea where there's no cell phone signal, you can still make an emergency call.

Battery life is up to 42 hours.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 comes in two colors: black titanium and natural titanium.

New colors have also been added to the bands compatible with the Apple Watch Ultra 3. The Alpine Loop comes in Light Blue, Terracotta, and Black, the Trail Loop comes in Blue/Light Blue, Green/Neon, and Black/Charcoal, and the Ocean Band comes in Neon Green, Anchor Blue, and Black.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 comes with four bands to choose from: Alpine Loop, Trail Loop, Ocean Band, and Titanium Milanese Loop. The price of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is 129,800 yen (tax included) for the Alpine Loop, Trail Loop, and Ocean Band, and 145,800 yen (tax included) for the Titanium Milanese Loop. Pre-orders will be accepted from Wednesday, September 9, 2025, with the release date set for Friday, September 19.
