In January 2025, Meta warned employees in an internal memo that 'due to increasing media coverage of internal meetings and future product plans, employees who leak information about the company will be fired .' They added, 'We take the results of this investigation seriously and will continue to take action when we confirm leaked information. As a result, we expect the number of employees fired to increase.'
