Kanon Miyazono, a first-year high school student, has been lonely ever since she was in the first year of junior high school. Even though she is just living an ordinary life, people look at her from afar and avoid her for some reason, and even people she thought were becoming friends with distance themselves from her.
One day, I was climbing up a tree to save a baby bird that had fallen from its nest, when suddenly I heard someone call out to me and I slipped and fell back down.
A girl called out to me. After falling from a tree and bumping into me, we finally met, and then she suddenly proposed to me, saying, 'I've decided, marry me.' Furthermore, the girl introduced herself as an android and asked me to 'transfer all of my personality to an AI and become an android just like me!'
The girl who appeared in front of Kanon with a strong impact introduced herself as Miyazono Rion. She has the same last name as Kanon, and the name also sounds similar.
It is revealed that Rinne is an android, and it is not a lie or a joke. She has a mechanical hole in her head, was developed for a government project to remove meteorites, and other information that Kanon cannot comprehend.
Kanon didn't understand what was going on and rejected Rinne with all her might, but Rinne had so much energy that she transferred to the same class and even ended up sharing a room in the dorms, doing whatever she wanted. Kanon's boring but peaceful daily life was invaded in an instant.

Rinne, who laughs and plays around in the bath, is an important android belonging to the government who suddenly stops moving and causes chaos. When Kanon sees the truth again, she realizes that she is in a deep destiny.
◆Part 2: Reunion and birth, mother and child
Kanon accompanies the stopped Rinne to a government research lab. The government official says that with Rinne's shutdown, it is now possible to disclose top secret information about Kanon. Although she is confused and doesn't understand what is going on, she decides that she can't just forget about Rinne and go home, so she accepts the information.
Kanon received a video letter. The 3D image showed a message from her beloved mother, who she lost at a young age. Before she could rejoice in their reunion, Kanon's mother, Touka, revealed four big 'secrets' surrounding Kanon.
The first is about Peach Blossom's birth. 'The Secret Palace' is a story of an era when the times and science were a little more advanced than today, when women were able to have children together. The technology was still in the process of being disseminated, and there were not many examples, but Peach Blossom is said to be one of them.
The second is about Kanon's birth. Kanon is a child of two women, just like Momoka, but in terms of her nature, she is more like a clone of Momoka.

After Kuon was released from the experiment by Sakura, the two got married and had a daughter, Momoka. Rinne also grew up with Kanon as if she were a daughter. As soon as she met Kanon for the first time, Rinne confessed her love to her. The last secret she holds is about the relationship between Rinne and Momoka.
On the night Rinne stopped, when she saw Kanon taking a bath with her, she muttered 'And...'. She lied at the time, but now she saw Momoka's face in Kanon and blurted it out. Rinne stopped not because she was sad about Kanon's rejection, but because she remembered Momoka and felt lonely.
Rinne is obsessed with Kanon because she loved Momoka. She wants to turn Kanon into an AI because she lost Momoka.

Then, Rinne, who the researchers had been unable to understand the cause of her stopping no matter how hard they tried, suddenly woke up. Kanon, who knew both herself and Rinne well, approached Rinne a little and accepted her overflowing love.
◆ Part 3: Farewell and confession, Kanon and Rinne
Despite the sudden trouble, Kanon and Rinne have returned to their peaceful daily lives. However, two disturbing shadows are looming.
First, the classmates' reactions. Shiho, who has orange hair, hears a slight mechanical sound coming from Rinne when she is saved by Rinne when she almost falls. On the day Rinne transferred to the school, Kanon said, 'This guy is an android.' At the time, everyone laughed it off, but they never expected it to happen.
Shiho, who noticed something, feeds Rinne some homemade cookies. Rinne looks like a human, eating meals and taking baths. However, she eats the spicy, bitter, and salty cookies without changing her expression.
Shiho's suspicions seem to have turned into certainty. Pressed, Rinne answers, 'There are secrets I'm hiding, and secrets I don't intend to hide.' The fact that she's an android is a secret that Rinne doesn't intend to hide. So what is the other 'secret I'm hiding'?
That evening, while searching for Rinne, Kanon spots a helicopter that she has heard belongs to the government, and then sees a familiar figure heading towards the helicopter that has landed close to the school.
Another secret that Rinne shares is that a meteorite has been found far out in space. Although it is still far away, it is on a trajectory that will approach Earth and eventually collide with it.
Rinne, who was born unexpectedly, was recognized for her existence by doing the work that only she could do. Just as she had left Earth 22 years ago until recently, she must once again travel to space to work. Kanon and Rinne, who had only been together for a few days, will have to part ways too soon.
As Rinne prepares to leave, Kanon calls out to her, saying, 'Take me with you.' 'Let's go to space together.'
Kanon tells her that she will become an AI. Rinne lost Momoka by going on a journey on her own. In order to never feel that way again, she urges Kanon to become an AI.
Rinne is overwhelmed with emotion as her wish comes true and her feelings are conveyed.
Meanwhile, her classmates try to stop Kanon. Rinne's wishes, Kanon's feelings, and the words of her classmates will determine her fate in the final episode.
