Technology media Android Headlines reports that it has obtained a spec sheet for the Pixel 9a from an anonymous carrier.
According to the information, the Pixel 9a will be a 'high-spec, low-cost model' equipped with the Tensor G4 processor like the Pixel 9 series, a Titan M2 security chip, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The dimensions of the phone are 154.7mm x 73.3mm x 8.9mm, slightly longer than the Pixel 8a, which is 152.1mm x 72.7mm x 8.9mm. It weighs 185.9g, which is lighter than the Pixel 8a, which is 188g.
The display will have a peak brightness of 2700 nits and an HDR brightness of 1800 nits. The screen size is listed as 6.285 inches, but Google is expected to market it as 6.3 inches. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 3, which makes it scratch-resistant. The contrast ratio could be 1 million:1 and the aspect ratio could be 20:9.
The phone is expected to feature a 48MP GN8 Quad Dual Pixel primary camera with a resolution of 1.7, as well as a 13MP Sony IMX712 ultra-wide camera.
The battery capacity is 5100mAh, which is larger than the 5060mAh of the Pixel 9 Pro XL, the largest in the series. Charging speed has improved from 18W in the Pixel 8a to 23W.
