'GoPro HERO13 Black' appearance review, action camera with 10% increased battery capacity and magnetic mounting system
The GoPro HERO13 Black, an action camera capable of shooting videos at 5.3K and 60fps, was released on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. The GoPro HERO13 Black uses a magnetic mount system and comes with a 1900mAh Enduro battery, which has a 10% increased battery capacity. I was sent a review kit for the GoPro HERO13 Black, so I first took a closer look at the exterior.

The GoPro HERO13 Black review kit was delivered wrapped in black cardboard.

When I opened the box, there was an illustration highlighting the camera's unique feature of being able to use a variety of lenses and filters.
In addition to the GoPro HERO13 Black body, the box contains replacement lenses, filters, mount adapters, etc.
I took everything out of the box. From the top left, there is the GoPro HERO13 Black body, a box containing an ND filter, a box containing an ultra-wide-angle lens mod, a box containing a macro lens mod, a USB cable, a hidden mount adapter and screws.

The GoPro HERO13 Black looks like this. It has an LCD display on the right and a lens on the left. The image sensor is a 1/1.9-inch CMOS with an effective pixel count of 27.6MP.

The battery cover is on the left side.
The battery can be equipped with a 1900mAh Enduro battery.

The GoPro HERO13 Black and magnetic latch mount are fixed not only by magnetism but also by claws. To remove, simply press both sides of the magnetic latch mount.
