The package for '0 Second Chicken Ramen with Pizza Flavor Powder' looks like this. It was sold for 146 yen (tax included) in the instant noodle section of a convenience store.
It is called seasoned fried noodles, and its ingredients include soy sauce, chicken extract, processed cheese, spices, and natural cheese.
The calories are 366kcal per bag.
Inside the bag were noodles and pizza-flavored powder.
The powder bag says, 'We recommend eating about a quarter of it as is before adding the powder.'
So, first I ate it as it was. It had the same rich flavor as regular Chicken Ramen with hot water added, and it had a nice crunching sound.
After eating a quarter of the noodles, crush them from the top of the bag.
Next, add the pizza flavored powder.
Shake well to mix.
Shake well and it's done.
It was crushed so finely that it was difficult to pick it up with my fingers.
So I tried it with a spoon. When I ate it as is, it was instantly recognizable as the 'Chicken Ramen flavor,' but when I mixed in the cheese-flavored powder, it lost all of its Chicken Ramen flavor and turned into a completely different flavor. The pizza-flavored powder had less of a cheese flavor and a strong sweetness. It's not a cheese-flavored snack for adults, but more of a sweet cheese-flavored snack that kids can enjoy.
The suggested retail price of '0 Second Chicken Ramen with Pizza Flavor Powder' is 136 yen excluding tax, and at the time of writing, 10 pieces can be purchased at Amazon.co.jp for 1,435 yen including tax (approximately 144 yen per piece).
