The humanoid robot 'Unitree G1' announced by Unitree has dimensions of 1270mm in height, 450mm in width, and 200mm in thickness when standing, and weighs approximately 35kg.

It can also be folded to a size of 690mm x 450mm x 300mm for easy carrying.

The head of the Unitree G1 is equipped with a Livox

LiDAR sensor ' Mid-360 ', which uses remote sensing technology to analyze the distance and characteristics of the target by emitting a laser. It also has an Intel RealSense Depth Camera D435 built in, which can measure the depth of the subject and the sense of distance to the subject.

The Unitree G1 is equipped with a total of 23 joints and can perform basic movements such as walking and running at a maximum speed of 7.2 km/h, as well as special movements such as getting up after falling and grabbing objects.

You can see the Unitree G1 actually walking and performing various actions in the video below.

The Unitree G1 also comes equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality for communication, as well as a built-in 9000mAh battery that lasts for about 1 to 2 hours.

The Unitree G1 is equipped with a proprietary AI development platform called 'Unitree Robot Unified Large Model (UnifoLM)', which allows reinforcement learning to be used to expand the range of Unitree G1's movements.

In addition to the regular model that is sold to the general public, the Unitree G1 also has an 'EDU' model. The EDU model has 43 joints instead of 23, and can be equipped with the AI computer NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin , allowing for secondary development. The price is 'negotiable.'
