Tesla CEO Elon Musk said, 'You'll be able to play over 1,000 games, including Cyberpunk and Elden Ring, with amazing sound in your car.'

However, it has been revealed that Tesla is informing new buyers of the Model S and Model X that they will no longer be able to play Steam in their cars. According to Electrek, which deals with information related to electric vehicles, Tesla is sending a message to new buyers of the Model S and Model X that reads, 'As Tesla updates the Model X gaming computer, you will no longer be able to play Steam games in your vehicle. All other entertainment and app functionality will remain unaffected.'

In response to Electrek's report, some users said, 'When the announcement was made, Tesla made a big fuss about supporting Steam, saying it was a 'gaming device as powerful as the PS5'. However, since it is only for new Model S and Model X buyers, I think only a very small number of users will be affected in the future.'

Tesla has previously discontinued support for several apps, including the Disney+ app, and some apps are not available in some vehicles.

Electrek pointed out that 'Tesla probably realized that few people were using Steam in their cars, so they discontinued it.'
